There is a strong link between COVID19 and Type 2 Diabetes, and you won’t see it any of the headlines.
Rather than lifestyle being communicated as a key factor in COVID19, we are told to be afraid and that being diagnosed with it is down to luck.
On this episode, chiropractor Dr Marcus Yeo joins us to discuss the often overlooked and inconvenient truths associated with COVID19.

100NO 395: Stress and mental health
Monday Oct 19, 2020
Monday Oct 19, 2020
To say the mental health and stress cost of COVID 19 is reaching gargantuan proportions is still a massive understatement.
On the back of young sportswoman Jacinda Barclay losing her battle with mental health, we discuss the signs to look for in ourselves and others as stress begins.
Being able to identify and ACT when anxiety or guilt strikes instead of waiting for overwhelm and helplessness to be the cue is a major step forward.
Having the courage to ask “how you are … really”, especially when body language, tone of voice and other cues are present.

100NO 394: When you get triggered
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Do you get triggered easily?
We’ve observed over nearly eight years of 100 Not Out that certain episodes – certain guests – have said things which we either haven’t agreed with, or downright weren’t expecting them to say.
We share specific examples on this episode and would love to know what you’ve learnt the hard way along the way, by first rejecting what you eventually found out to be absolutely true.

100NO 393: Is Mediocre A Dirty Word?
Monday Oct 05, 2020
Monday Oct 05, 2020
Marcus is almost a first-time author, with his book Exceptional in the closing stages of editing before going to print.
A number of edits have been made, one of which is the amount of times the word ‘mediocre’ is used.
Some in society define mediocre as simple. Others define it as sub-par or below average.
On this episode, we discuss the word ‘mediocre’ and what it means for people. Is a mediocre life a life not well-lived? Or is it mastering the art of a simple life?
Without a doubt the definition of the word is subjective, and we encourage you to define and use the word in the context that works for you!

100NO 391: Why aren’t we dead yet?
Monday Sep 21, 2020
Monday Sep 21, 2020
Have you ever reflected on your childhood diet and wondered how on earth you’re still alive?!
On this #jokingnotjoking episode, we look at our respective upbringings and share our daily diet from years gone by. We discuss what’s changed and what hasn’t. And we gafore that whilst the world continues to take diet so seriously to the point that we judge others for what they eat, most of us don’t resent our parents for feeding us what they did.
We hope this episode brings a smile to your dial 🙂

100NO 390: What if they were wrong?
Monday Sep 14, 2020
Monday Sep 14, 2020
If you’re like Damo and Marcus, you may have had parents feed you what we know to be a pretty poor diet (that doesn’t mean they didn’t love you, by the way). And, they may not have taught you financial wisdom (that also doesn’t mean they didn’t love you). They may not be great role models for career fulfilment or social engagement. But again, that doesn’t mean they didn’t love you.
As we get older, we realise that our loved ones were sincere … and sincerely wrong about some or many elements of life. That is not a bad thing – in fact it is often the catalyst for greatness in life.
On today’s episode, we use the current media landscape to discuss how wrong some people are getting it, and when to be able to distinguish the forest from the trees.
